Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 19 July 2026

This policy explains when an order placed with Samrat Power System Pvt Ltd may be cancelled, when a product may be returned, and how refunds are processed. Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions and our Shipping and Delivery Policy.

1. Order Cancellation:

• An order may be cancelled free of charge at any time before it has been dispatched. Contact us on +91 9810316115 or samratpower@gmail.com quoting your order number.
• Where payment was made online, the full amount is refunded to the original payment method.
• Once an order has been dispatched it can no longer be cancelled, and is handled under the return conditions in section 2.
• Custom-built battery packs cannot be cancelled once production has begun. See section 4.

2. Returns:

• We accept returns only where the product is defective, was damaged in transit, or where an incorrect item was delivered.
• We do not accept returns or exchanges on account of change of mind. Lithium battery packs, chargers and inverters are heavy, high-value goods that cannot be restocked once installed or used.
• Damage in transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of both the packaging and the product.
• A manufacturing defect found after installation is handled under the warranty in section 3 rather than as a return.
• Where a return is approved we arrange and pay for collection of the item. Please do not send a product back to us before we have confirmed the return.

3. Warranty:

• Lithium battery packs — 36 months from the date of delivery.
• 1500 Volt EV Charger — 24 months from the date of delivery.
• All other EV chargers — 12 months from the date of delivery.
• Inverters — 24 months from the date of delivery.
• The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover physical damage, water ingress, unauthorised opening or repair, use of a charger not supplied or approved by us, or damage caused by incorrect installation or misuse.
• A valid warranty claim is resolved by repair or replacement at our discretion. A warranty claim does not by itself entitle the customer to a refund.

4. Custom-Built Battery Packs:

• Customised packs are manufactured to a specification agreed with the customer and cannot be resold.
• Any advance paid becomes non-refundable once production has begun.
• Custom packs remain covered by the 36 month warranty against manufacturing defects.

5. Refund Method and Timeline:

• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Online payments are refunded through our payment gateway. Cash on Delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer to an account held in the customer’s name.
• Refunds are initiated within 3 business days of approval. Once initiated, the amount normally reaches the account within 5 to 7 business days, depending on the customer’s bank.
• No delivery charge is deducted from a refund, as delivery is free on all orders.
