Shipping and Delivery Policy

Effective Date: 19 July 2026

This policy explains where we deliver, what delivery costs, and how long it takes. Please read it together with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Delivery Coverage:

• We deliver across India.
• We do not currently ship outside India.

2. Delivery Charges:

• Delivery is free on all orders. The price shown at checkout is the final amount payable and is inclusive of GST.

3. Dispatch and Delivery Time:

• Orders are dispatched within 3 to 7 working days of order confirmation.
• Time in transit after dispatch depends on the destination and the courier. Deliveries to remote locations and to the north-eastern states take longer than deliveries to major cities.
• Custom-built battery packs are made to order. Their production timeline is agreed with the customer at the time of the order and is separate from the dispatch times above.

4. Transport of Lithium Batteries:

• Lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods and are carried by surface transport only. They cannot be sent by air courier. This is a regulatory restriction that applies to all sellers and it affects delivery times to distant locations.

5. Order Tracking:

• The status of an order can be seen in the Samrat Power app, and is updated as the order moves from confirmed, to dispatched, to delivered.
• Where the courier issues a tracking reference we share it on the phone number given at checkout.

6. Receiving Your Order:

• Please give a complete address including a landmark, and a phone number that can be reached. An incomplete address is the most common cause of delay.
• Someone must be available to receive the consignment. Battery packs and inverters are heavy and may need assistance to move.
• Please check the packaging before accepting delivery. If it is visibly damaged, record this with the delivery person and report it to us within 48 hours, as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Delays:

• We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, including courier disruption, weather, strikes, or restrictions imposed by the authorities. Where such a delay affects an order we will keep the customer informed.
